I can thoroughly recommend Debbie from Lock Monkey. We had a problem with the lock on our back door. She visited this afternoon. Assessed what needed to be done and proceeded to repair it promptly and efficiently. She was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

Debbie came and fixed our front door today. She was able to change the mechanism and realigned the door. We live in a new build and our door has never unlocked and opened so smoothly before!

Called on a Thursday Debbie said she would be on holiday the next week and her Friday was fully booked. I explained my predicament and she said she would see if she could alter the start of her holiday and would ring me back. I must be honest I wasn't expecting any change, how wrong was I!
Phone rang in less than 5mins and she said she could meet at the property on Saturday at 0930.
Debbie was there on time and within the hour the job was done.

Magic. Our front door lock suddenly stopped working and we were locked out. We somehow managed to get in but with no confidence of locking or unlocking the door ever again. We called the Lockmonkey who came as soon as free and identified the front door problem immediately. We then mentioned our double patio doors were getting tricky to open and close the second door so she looked at and fixed those. All 3 doors, front and two patio doors now open and close as smoothly as silk. Fantastic. Now sitting in the afternoon heat with ALL doors open ( knowing we can close them again). What a difference. Thank you so much Deb for the fast response and professional work. Highly recommended. Would use again without hesitation.

I was fortunate to find The Lock Monkey hanging about online with a truly helpful number of amazing Google reviews. Deb is based along the coastline from us in Exmouth; we’re in Sidmouth. The disadvantage of us living on the seafront meant that our old age pensioner Everest UPVC patio doors had their door lock playing up due to them drooping with age and salt on their hinges (I know the feeling). Deb is warm, friendly, reassuring and truly expert in her field. Thanks to her endeavours, when the next mini heatwave strikes we can safely open our double doors again to let in the sea-cooled air (the world’s cheapest and best air conditioner). So a very special thanks to Deb, especially for accommodating our special medical needs. Deb was more than happy to wear a face mask and shoe covers and is one of those magical people that help make Devon a wonderful mini Country to live in... all on its own in today's sadly troubled world. Highly recommended and will be asked for help again when needed.

I have nothing but admiration for the professionalism of Deb at The Lock Monkey. I live in London but have been dealing with an unoccupied property in Devon which is on the market. The selling agents were unable to get access to one of the rooms in the house. Deb took the initiative to collect the keys from the agents, attend the property and fix the lock to the room on the same day i called her. She also fixed the lock to one of the windows in the house. Buying new parts and attending the property twice to deal with the issue. First rate service. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Lock Monkey .

After a series of negative experiences with so called ""tradespeople" proffering a variety of costly solutions to a locked shut UPVC door including total replacement of entire door we eventually found the wonderful Deb of The Lock Monkey. Having contacted her on the Sunday she booked us in for the following Tuesday when she promptly appeared. We were fully expecting the usual run around of another appointment having to be booked to order spare parts etc but to our surprise she set to work, diagnosed the problem, unlocked the door and fixed the mechanism within an hour. No the usual disappearing to source a spare part. She even had one for a 36 year old door in her van!
So if you have a problem with a door contact Deb. Apart from being really good at her job she's a delight to have around. You can't beat an experienced professional from a longstanding family business!
